Special announcement!
I have decided to try something new for next week. I am going to announce the theme in advance, and then you all can go in and take photos within that theme. The point is to get you out there taking photos rather than digging through your computer files to find ones you like. I am going to try it this week, if it catches on, we'll continue the new way. If you all prefer it the old way, we'll switch back!
In the spirit of Valentine's Day, next week's theme will be "LOVE".
Be creative! I won't tell you what to take photos of, but I'm excited to see the results.
Now, on to your regularly scheduled photos.
This week's theme is "Family".

"My brother (in the photo) told me recently that he's happy to have inherited our dad's quirks, because they could be so much worse! This picture embodies it for me: he's wearing my dad's iconic blue vest, paddling the old cedar canoe that is the love of Dad's life, and a family treasure that has been passed down from my grandfather."
Don't forget, next week's theme is "LOVE".
